Oh, yeah . . . vacation was AWESOME!! I forgot I have some of those photos, still waiting for most of em. But here are some that I have. We ate tons of great food, had Hyman's buffalo oysters, ate tons of raw oysters, walked everywhere, saw lots of old Charleston, went to the beach 3 times, cooked a bunch, had a few cigars, went mini-golfing and go carting, watched a terrible Jason Statham movie, watched "The Craft" with Dad (Dad said it had absolutely no redeeming value, not surprising for a movie about teen witches), had home made strawberry basil margaritas, grilled tuna steaks, fig salad, pattie pan squash with bacon and onions, ate donuts, Cheerwine soda pop, red velvet cake, ate at my old culinary school (they remembered me!) and found a new Italian restaurant with amazing hand made pasta and smooth jazz (that's not too loud). Oh yeah and we saw the Angel tree and went Kayaking into the Charleston Harbor, round the bird sanctuary, near fort Sumter and around Shem Creek and old Mt. Pleasant (and saw baby porpoises playing) And we stayed up talking for hours every night, except for when Rachel fell asleep at the table listening to Dad tell stories (only once though).
THANKS AGAIN MOM AND DAD!!! I've, WE'VE never had so much fun!
Love you guys and miss you so much!

The Livingroom
So we have a 2nd bedroom that we have been using as an entertainment room. It's great. I love when people come over that they can sit down, relax and actually talk, rather than zone out in front of the TV. However, my IKEA couch broke. Badly. It'd gotten to the point that we have to throw it out. And we have another couch (it won't fit in there though) and we don't won't to buy more furniture. So we re-arranged and moved everything into the living room. Looks really nice! Take a look!
Also, I went to a food cart today and thought of you, Mike. Just like that horrible, cheesy song a got a burger with the name "one night in Bangkok." It was weird but delicious. It had a big dollop of peanut butter (!), Sriracha hot sauce, pickles, bacon and onions. Tasty. I also got fries covered in garlic aioli, Chantrelle mushroom salt and white truffle oil. It was good.
Also, I had Charlie in to the vet. He's 15 and a half pounds! That's 5 pounds lighter than when we first got here to Portland. Vet says he can stand to gain a pound . . . so I've finally started to let him have a treat here and there! I included a photo where I balanced a slice of pepper jack cheese on his face/nose. He was breathing so heavily and shaking! You can see him trying to stare at it between his eyes.
And here's a picture of me at the huge Portland Polish festival. They had Mojos there too, that's apparently slang for Croatian. Had lots of p-dawgs, bigos, sausage and stuffed cabbage, AND pazcke!
